In Udmurtia the complex
of economy formed gradually in the process of decisions of
social-economic and political tasks.
Modern Economic development of the Republic is based on a
number of favourable pre-conditions and factors, such as:
- Industrially developed potential, high qualified staffs,
scientific research and experimental base;
- Profitable transport and geographical situation of the
Republic convinient for being placed of enterprises,
connected closely economy complexes both in the Ural
economic region and nearby regions;
- Availability of nature resources, such as oil, peat,
forest, non-metalic building materials, animal and
vegetable resources which could become inexhaustable
sources of wealth if being applied rationally and
effectively;
- Soil and climatic conditions are acceptable enough to
provide succeful development of agriculture on condition
that modern technique of farming will be observed;
- The territory is developed enough and has rather
favourable demographic position allowing to meet fully
requirements of the agriculture in labor resources under
conditions of production intensifications.
