Since few people in Izhevsk watch "Program A" on all-Russian TV channel, where seemed expedient to us to make the local audience's acquaintance with this funny video. Moreover, we would liked to interview PLASTICA again after almost a year since their first appearing in MORZEFISH. Our intention was to get an idea of inner changes and the way they form a background for cultural breakthrough.

The ingenious musicians were answering persistent questions of MORZEFISH in it's studio. They were:

Morzefish:   You've recently bought musical hardware. Are you going to give up guitars and play pure techno?

SASHA:   Now we are going to use the computer mainly as a sampling device. That will help us release ideas used to be unrealizable and thus enrich our music.
SLAVA:   The thing is that now our music is kind of more trendy, inspire of ew still remain a guitar outfit.
VLAD:   In our opinion we've been the same people we haven't changed a bit inside of us for all 3 years of our being together. If we changed, it would affect our music first....

fi
Morzefish:   Many suspect that you don't really sing, you just imitate singing. Would you clear up the matter?

SLAVA:   You mean these talks about our fairy-tale-like and unfinished lyrics? There's no secret at all.
SASHA:   First we write lyrics in English with correct syntax and punctuation. Then we ajust it to the musical peculiarities of the sons in general and vocal ones in particular. So many words are replaced, mispronounced, misemphasized. At this point they get less understable. As a result, Rusian audience think we sing in English and foreign listeners would think we sing in Russian.

Morzefish:   Doesn't that seem a scornful attitude towards your audience?

VLAD:   No. When we set about working on a new material, recording a song etc, our primary concern is our listeners or viewers appreciation I would be pleased if they were shocked or puzzled. In the beginning we got together to affect constantly increasing an audience. I don't think it doesn't correspond people's interests, especially of those who been involved the whole thing for a long time. And certainly our own needs and requirements are enormous.
